The Riyadh Chamber, in collaboration with Bayan Credit Bureau, hosted a workshop titled “Your International Ambassador in Business Transactions.” The event introduced Bayan Global Portal, a service that allows users to access information on over 200 million companies worldwide. The portal provides insights into the commercial, financial, and legal credit status of these companies using official global sources. Additionally, it enables businesses to compare credit metrics with international market standards.
The workshop attracted a large audience, including credit professionals, small and medium-sized business owners, and representatives from commercial enterprises in Saudi Arabia. During the session, Talal Al-Shehri, Chief Business Officer at Bayan Credit Bureau, emphasized the importance of well-analyzed and informed credit decisions in enhancing the credibility of economic entities. He stated that reliable credit information is essential for decision-makers, as it significantly reduces financial risks and strengthens trust in deferred payment transactions between SMEs.
Al-Shehri highlighted that Bayan one of the first companies in the region to provide commercial credit services, operates under the credit information system and currently serves businesses within Saudi Arabia. He also noted that SMEs with a strong financial track record and a solid credit reputation can gain faster access to bank financing.
The workshop covered key topics, including credit assessment, customer risk evaluation, and the role of Bayan in providing credit information for businesses across all five continents. Discussions also focused on the importance of assessing the credit status of both current and prospective clients, as well as how Bayan Indicators help compare Saudi companies with industry benchmarks locally and globally.
This initiative marks a significant step in fostering a more transparent and reliable business environment in the Kingdom, empowering businesses with the information needed to make sound financial and commercial decisions
